About Myself

Since August 2020, I am research assistant in the working group Statistics which is part of the Institute of Mathematics - IMMI at the University of Hildesheim.

My research falls into the field of statistical learning. In particular, I am interested in the development of flexible univariate as well as multivariate distributional regression models for probabilistic (weather) forecasting, with a focus on theoretical and computational aspects. During my PhD, I have mainly worked on vine copula based distributional regression models for the statistical postprocessing of numerical weather prediction forecasts.
